Texas justice's wife cleared of arson charges

<div id="subtitle">Wife of Texas Supreme Court justice cleared of arson, other charges related to $1M house fire</div><div><p>Arson charges have been dropped against the wife of a Texas Supreme Court justice in a fire that destroyed their home in a Houston suburb.</p><p>The Harris County District Attorney's Office dismissed felony arson and felony criminal mischief charges against Francisca Medina, the wife of Justice David Medina.</p><p>Thursday's dismissal came after experts couldn't rule out the possibility that an electrical problem caused the $1 million fire in Spring.</p><p>Medina's attorney, Dick DeGuerin, tells the Houston Chronicle that two witnesses said there was no way it was arson.</p><p>Both the judge and his wife initially were indicted. Those indictment was thrown out, but another grand jury indicted Francisca Medina.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=57729459&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
